Gator Football
· Age groups are 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13
· Practice will be Mon, Wed and Thurs from 6-7:30pm
· The season runs through October
· Games are played on Saturdays, with an occasional weekday game
· Hilton Head Gator Football teams play in the Beaufort County PALS football league
· Must fax 681-3754 or bring a copy of their birth certificate to the Rec Center before deadline

Monday-Friday, August 2-13 at Barker Field from 6-7:30pm
Fee: $75
To Register: Please come to the Island Rec. or Barker Field during practice times.
Interested in coaching:
Must attend a coaching clinic directed by Tim Singleton on Saturday,
July 31. The clinic will be held at the Hilton Head Island School
Football Field at noon.

New this year:
Hilton Head Gator Football is joining forces with Hilton Head Island High School Head Football Coach Tim Singleton and the Island Recreation Center on the implementation of the 2010 Gator Football season. The ultimate goal of the partnership is to provide children 8-13 years of age with a positive experience emphasizing the fun of the game. The season will focus on teamwork, fair play and good sportsmanship while teaching the fundamentals of football.
There is a new Board of Directors lead by Coach Singleton and other community leading. The Island Recreation Center is assisting with administrative support, along with working on the overall implementation of the Gator program. If you have questions, about the coming season please call Coach Singleton at 290-6344 or Frank Soule at the Island Recreation Center at 681-7272.
Practice and conditioning begins Monday - Friday, August 2-13 at Barker Field from 6:00-7:30pm. Before the season begins, children of all skill levels are welcome to the practices/conditioning sessions. The Gator Football season runs Monday, August 16th through November with practices on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30pm. Hilton Head Gator Football teams play on Saturdays, with an occasional weekday game in the Beaufort County PALS football league. Join the fun before the registration deadline on Friday, August 20.
