The Island Recreation Center and Storm Soccer Academy have a partnership to work together on soccer programs for the community. Storm SA/Tormenta FC was created to increase opportunities for players in Hilton Head and the surrounding area to train and play at the highest levels!

This is our local 9-12 year old program that focuses on technical proficiency. We focus on creating technical players and look to increase their comfort-ability and confidence on the ball. Most of the season they are local with some friendly events and tournaments in other cities like Columbia and Greenville.

Our day camps are set up locally for players age 4-14. This is a great camp for players ranging in all skill levels and ages from the beginner to the advanced, recreational player to the academy level. Our curriculum is focused on fun and skill acquisition and work on technical components of the game (dribbling, passing, shooting) within the context of fun activities that players love.

Pre Academy

This is our local 6-8 year old beginner program that promotes development and understanding of the game. Teaching players this age how to play the game, and creating a fun learning environment where all players develop a passion for soccer.

This is our 13 – 18 year old program that focuses on league play in the state of South Carolina. At this age we focus on getting kids to college if they are interested, attending showcases and exposing them to college coaches. Most of their games result in Charleston or Columbia.
