Description: The techniques and skills taught in this camp are designed to provide a strong foundation that allows young players to develop in to high level athletes as they continue playing. All of the basic individual skills will be covered including passing, setting, hitting, digging, blocking, and serving as well as team defensive and offensive systems.
Led by Coach Garret Talarczyk who has been coaching for 12 years at Hilton Head Island High School. Talarczyk played club volleyball and graduated from Western Michigan University. He has been the head varsity coach for 7 years.
Coaching achievements include: 3 state championship matches, won states in 2016, won 6 consecutive region titles, Region coach of the year in 2010, 2012, 2015, 2016, nominated for SC volleyball coach of the year 2015, 2016, SC All-Star coach 2015, and Beaufort County District coach of the year 2016.
Depending on the skill level. Participants will work on the following skills: serving, passing, hitting, blocking, setting and defense. Please wear athletic shoes, athletic wear, knee pads.
