Mother Son Game Night

Calling all mothers/mother figures and sons to The Island Rec Mother Son Night! Enjoy a fun game night with your favorite little man. Snacks will be served. DJ Jeff Taylor will be spinning tunes. Board game challenges, yard games (giant pong, GAGA BALL, nine square), and other activities provided by Extreme Firehouse. Don’t forget about the ultimate dodgeball game between mothers and sons! Plus our Rockwall will be open, and must be 48-300lbs to climb and wear running shoes/sneakers.

Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. $25/couple, each additional child(ren) $10

The Island Recreation Association is proud to bring you a fun-filled, festive atmosphere with the highlight of the night fireworks which start around 9 pm. Kids of all ages can enjoy inflatable bounce houses and face painting for a minimal fee. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the fireworks!

Friday, September 13, 6:00-8:00 pm
Lowcountry Celebration Park
$40, includes t-shirt and snacks after race
A cup of draft Ultra before every lap
Medals for top three males and females
Must be over 21 to participate

Bring a friend and take part in Island Rec Center's 2nd Beer Mile! The beer mile is the ultimate feat of athleticism and drinking prowess. Each competitor drinks four cans or bottles of beer and runs four laps around Lowcountry Celebration Park. Start with drinking a beer, then run a lap, then beer, then lap, then beer, then lap, then beer, then lap - finish. Each competitor must have a designated driver to participate. Additional beer available for purchase at the afterparty.

The Hilton Head Island Rec Center is so excited to "kick-off" Parks and Recreation Month with our 2nd annual Community Kickball Event. This kickball event will be on July 1st starting at Crossings Park starting at 5pm. This is a free event. You can register as a team captain and list your teammates or you can register as an individual who would like to be placed on a team. As a team captain, you must have 11-15 people on your roster.
