Community Fishing with Local Captains

For families/all ages at The Rowing & Sailing Center
Bring your family together for a fun, hands-on adventure that blends learning and outdoor excitement! This engaging two-hour program invites participants to explore the wonders of Lowcountry ecology while enjoying quality time on the water. We will begin with our knowledgeable Master Naturalists sharing fascinating insights into the region’s unique animals, plants, geology, and ecological patterns, bringing the natural world to life in an approachable and engaging way.

In the second hour, the experience shifts to the dock at the Rowing & Sailing Center, where families will enjoy guided fishing time with our friendly staff. Learn how to rig lines, bait hooks, practice effective fishing strategies, and pick up helpful tips along the way. Whether you’re new to fishing or looking to sharpen your skills, this program offers a memorable mix of education, discovery, and outdoor fun for all ages.
