Come join Moore To Life and Island Rec Center for Spooky Snakes & Craft, a hands-on adventure where kids ages 4–8 can discover the fascinating world of snakes in the Lowcountry! Young explorers will meet our friendly mascot, Cornelius the corn snake, and learn what makes these slithery creatures so important to our environment. After the up-close encounter, we’ll channel our creativity with a spooky-inspired craft to take home. It’s the perfect mix of learning, laughter, and a little bit of spooky fun!

Family Hike at Skidaway

Skidaway Island State Park

We will take a guided nature walk through the trails of the park through Mari-time forest and salt marsh views. Plan to walk about 2 miles on varied terrain. There will be time to walk through the nature center as well.

Feel free to spend the rest of the afternoon on your own to explore one of Savannah’s many historic and scenic sites. We recommend bringing a light snack, water bottle, and sunscreen.
