This is a fundamental skill-based learning program. Kids will be taught basic skills of the sport including dribbling, passing, and shooting.

Instructors will be Island Rec Staff employees and volunteer coaches with proper basketball knowledge.

Grade groups
Boys: 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, 7th/8th
Girls: 3rd/4th, 5th/6th

Players will be placed on a team with coaches. Practices will begin in December with the team and they are based on the coaches availability. Games will begin on January 10 and finish with the end of season playoffs on March 7.
