What brought you to Island Rec? First it was the pool....then Discovery Club, then Rec Soccer, After School Care, Summer Camp....but ALWAYS THE POOL

What is your favorite part about Island Rec? Easy-All the great friends I've made there over the last 20 years! My family has been so lucky to have been able to participate in so many great rec center programs over the years, and now 2 (soon to be 3) of my kids are lifeguards at the pool! We are also very involved with the local club swim team, H2A, and love that the Rec Center is our home pool! 

What is a typical pool workout for you? Well, that varies, it could be head down and swim 10,000 yards and it could be swim a lap...laugh and catch up with friends...swim a lap....laugh and catch up with friends....or anything in between!

Do you have a favorite local restaurant? Hudsons. 100%

Where were you born? Akron, Ohio, but I grew up all over...we moved to Hilton Head in 2005

Do you have any hobbies? If so, what? Open Water Swimming, lap swimming, boating...really anything to do with the water!
