Limited Contact Gator Football

June 4 - 27
Reg. by May 28
Boys, Ages 9-12
Tues-Thurs, 6-7:30pm
Barker Field | $15

A transitional league known as “Limited Contact" focuses on limited-contact football. The new program provides a more controlled environment to continue developing children’s skills and growing confidence in their ability to play the sport safely. More emphasis is put on practice sessions than playing actual games, which occur three times per week. Players can make contact within five yards of the line of scrimmage. Blocking and jamming are allowed off of the line of scrimmage. Eight players are allowed on the field instead of the typical 11. Intentional tackling to the ground is not allowed and flag belts are still used in the league. Defensive players can come into contact with offensive players commonly referred to as a “thud”, while still standing, and then players pull the flag.

Please bring/wear: Athletic attire, cleats, mouthguard.
